Omega Man Creator & Activist, Alonzo Washington, has been on a mission to challenge the national media to give these children the national exposure they deserve. Mr. Washington traveled to the National Association of Black Journalist 27^th Annual Conferencei in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to challenge the African American journalist to get more involved in covering these stories. The plan worked. Since his press conference at the convention he has appeared on CNN Headlines News, Nightly News with Aaron Brown, CNN Live with Leon Harris, Donahue on MSNBC, BET Nightly News & in a number of newspapers to address this issue. The following are names of Missing African American Children that are not famous and need to be recovered. These kids are missing and deserve National attention. These kids should be famous like the rich & white children that we all know.

1. Yesenia Nungaray Becerra
   
   • The victim was discovered on May 1, 2003 in Castro Valley, Alameda County, California
   • Estimated Date of Death: almost 2 weeks
   • Cause of Death: Asphyxiation by Strangulation
   • Partially Decomposed
   ** Vital Statistics **
   • She was 16 and from Yahualica, Mexico.
   • Approximate Height and Weight: 5'1"; 110 lbs.
   • Distinguishing Characteristics: Long, wavy brown hair worn in butterfly clip. Ears single pierced. No scars or tattoos. She had never had a baby. Her bones showed she was a mix of races.
   • Dentals: She has nearly perfect teeth.
   • Clothing: Shirt with Tommy Sports across middle, primarily red with a blue and white chest area, blue with yellow and black plaid flannel pajama pants and light colored socks. Medium-size Gold hoop earrings etched with a cross-cross or "Roped" pattern.
   • Fingerprints: Available
   • DNA: Available
   ** Case History **
   The victim was located in a wooded area behind a Carrows Restaurant in the vicinity of the 2700 block of Castro Valley Boulevard on May 1, 2003. Her partially decomposed body was found in a green canvas bag. Blood tests showed she was free of alcohol and drugs.
   ** Investigators **
   The investigators are looking for 27-year-old Miguel Angel Nunez Castaneda, also from Yahualica, as a "person of interest" in the case. He worked at the restaurant where Yesenia's body was found and lived with her before she was killed.

3. Shelby Nicole Cannon

   Was abducted by her non-custodial mother, Catherine Collins Cannon, in October of 1998 from Woodland Hills, California after she was allowed to leave the country for an agreed upon visitation to Navan, Ireland, but failed to return.)

   These pictures of her were taken when she was 2 and 4 years old.

4. Ardena Carter NOT EVERY MISSING PREGNANT WOMAN RECEIVES NATIONAL ATTENTION.

   Ardena Carter is a native of Los Angeles, CA, who graduated with a biology degree from Howard University and is currently a graduate student at Georgia Southern. When she disappeared, she was 6 months pregnant. Her baby is due December 25, and we still have not heard from her, nor has she made contact with loved ones.

   Detectives and the FBI are working on her case, but we need to make sure Ardena's story stays in the media. Please go to her official missing person website, circulate or email her flyer, and keep us in your prayers. Ardena is loved and missed by many, and we want her home.

   Alonzo normally seeks more national media coverage for missing Black children. However, this case illustrates the clear difference & racism of the media. Ardena's case is so similar to Dru Sjodin's & Lacey Peterson's yet she has barely received any national media attention. The case is so blatant that Alonzo had to address it. A Black Woman & an unborn Black child is missing and the national media does not care.

5. Ashani Creighton, Ashani's photo is shown age-progressed to 8 years. She was last seen by her mother on March 21, 1997. She was abducted by her grandparents who have since been taken into police custody. The grandparents moved from Orlando, Fla. to Tulsa, Okla. in August, 1998. Ashani has not been seen or heard from since. She may also go by the name Karin. Contact the Orange County, Fla.    I was finally able to give Precious Doe a name: Precious Erica Michelle Maria Green. I thank God in the name of Jesus that you used me as a vessel to solve this case. Please God give me the power to solve these other cases. (Activist Alonzo Washington).

    

    

7. Christian Ferguson is 9 years old, 4 feet tall, and weighs 75 lbs. He is a black male with light complexion with a short afro hairstyle.

   Christian is severely mentally challenged and may be dressed only in a diaper and wrapped in a multicolored blanket. He is on a special diet and requires medication twice a day or he may slip into a coma.

   He was in his parents car in St. Louis, Missouri, USA at about 6:30 AM on Wed. June 11 when it was stolen. The vehicle has been recovered but Christian is still missing.

8. Quadrevion Henning & Purvis Parker are 12 and 11 years old, respectively.

   he bodies of these two youn men were found by hikers in a local pond.

9. This story is a pure example of the bias & racism of the media. Evelyn Hernandez was 24 & pregnant when she & her son Alex Hernandez was reported missing on May 07, 2002. Her boyfriend who is married is suspected in the murder. Evlelyn's beheaded body washed up in the same bay that Laci's corpse did. However, her son & the child she was carrying was never recovered. 10. Tamika Huston
    is an African American female. She is 24 years old and weights 125 pounds. She is 4 feet 11 inches tall,and has black hair. She has a tatoo of a tiger or lion on her right thigh and white blemishes in the neck area.

11. Marquis Jobes a 13 yrs., black male, 5', 110 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. He has been missing since last week. Police say his mother was found shot to death in her home Saturday morning in their Chesterfield County home.

    Police are looking for Anthony Rankine a black male, 5' 10", 160 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair, and has scars on his head and chest. They may be in a white 1999 Isuzu Rodeo with Virginia tags, JHA-2602.

    Marquis is believed to be in extreme danger.

14. Teekah Lewis Teekah's photo is shown age-progressed to 6 years. She was last seen on January 23, 1999 at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the New Frontier Lanes bowling alley in Tacoma, Washington. She was wearing a Tweety Bird T-shirt, white sweat pants and Air Jordan sneakers. Teekah has eczema. It has lead to visible skin discoloration on her face on the left side of her buttocks.
